Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the CADocs platform available at cadocs.in. By creating an account or using CADocs, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a human individual (not an automated system) to create an account on CADocs. By using CADocs, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements. Accounts registered by bots or automated methods will be terminated.

2. Account responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@cadocs.in if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We are not liable for any loss caused by unauthorised use of your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use CADocs only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not use CADocs to: create documents containing false, misleading, or fraudulent information; impersonate any person or professional body including ICAI, ICMAI, or ICSI; violate any applicable Indian law or regulation including the Information Technology Act 2000, the Companies Act 2013, or the Chartered Accountants Act 1949; upload or transmit malicious code or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems; resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit CADocs without written permission.

4. Intellectual property

All content on the CADocs platform including templates, software, design, and text is owned by CADocs or its licensors and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the platform for your personal professional use. Documents you generate using your own data remain your property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute CADocs templates or software.

5. Subscription and payments

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Prices are in Indian Rupees and are inclusive of applicable GST. We reserve the right to change prices with 30 days notice to registered users. Failure to pay may result in downgrade to the Free plan. All payments are processed by Razorpay and subject to their terms.

6. Cancellation and termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

CADocs is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that documents generated will be fit for any specific legal or regulatory purpose. You are solely responsible for verifying that documents meet applicable professional, statutory, and regulatory requirements.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, CADocs and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

9. ICAI and professional body disclaimer

CADocs is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI), or the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). Users must independently verify compliance of all documents with applicable professional conduct rules.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India. We encourage you to contact us at support@cadocs.in to resolve disputes informally before initiating formal proceedings.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of material changes at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of CADocs after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
