Privacy Policy

1.1 Information you provide directly

When you create an account, we collect your full name and email address. When you set up a firm profile, we collect firm name, owner name, ICAI membership number, designation, address, phone number, email, and GSTIN. When you contact us, we collect the information you include in your message.

1.2 Information collected automatically

When you use CADocs, we automatically collect certain information about your device and usage, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, time spent on pages, referring URL, and document types generated. This data is used only for analytics and security purposes.

1.3 Payment information

We do not store your payment card details. All payment processing is handled by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. We receive a payment confirmation and a Razorpay transaction ID after a successful payment.

We use your information to: provide, operate, and improve the CADocs platform; process payments and send transaction confirmations; send account-related emails (welcome email, payment receipts, password resets); respond to your support requests and messages; enforce our Terms of Use and detect fraudulent activity; comply with legal obligations under Indian law including the Information Technology Act, 2000.

Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure hosted in secure data centres. We implement row-level security so that no user can access another user's data. Documents and firm profiles are only accessible to the account that created them. We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. No system can guarantee absolute security; you use CADocs at your own risk and should use a strong, unique password.

CADocs uses the following third-party services that may receive your data: Supabase (database and authentication), Razorpay (payment processing), Resend (transactional email), Vercel (hosting and deployment). Each of these providers has its own privacy policy. We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

We use essential cookies to maintain your authenticated session on CADocs. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but this will prevent you from logging into the platform.

You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate personal data; delete your account and associated data by emailing support@cadocs.in; withdraw consent for data processing where consent is the legal basis; lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority in India.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.

CADocs is intended for use by professional adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from persons under 18 years of age. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us at support@cadocs.in and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of material changes. Continued use of CADocs after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
